My off-ice training for the Double Axel is terrible today. I couldn't get my left foot to travel straight forward when preparing to jump. It's very confusing because it doesn't feel the same as it does on ice. There's no speed, so every time when I lose track of my footing, it starts rotating before I even leave the ground. Although it's still getting better on ice, I still hope my off-ice training will improve!

When I landed my Double Axel on ice, I discovered how to stabilize a slightly lopsided axis in the air. The easiest way to do it is just to push my right hip forward, quickly get into the air, and pull my left hip back. This is how I figured out how to easily maintain a good axis more easily. Although my success rate is still  not very high and my jump is still not clean yet, I believe it will continue to improve!
